Introduction

A&S Design is an architecture and interior design firm based in Pune, India. In January 2024, they moved into a new, larger office space, and are thus meaning to make a fresh start, rebrand and re-establish themselves as a player in the market. They are also keen to stand out and document projects online to attract more clients.

Brief- Comprehensive Rebranding of A&S Design that revitalises the firm’s identity and values, with attention to the online presence of the firm.

The word cloud for A&S includes the design style, ideologies, specialities, and the way they want to present themselves. They want every interaction with their clients to be inviting, and their voice should reflect this.

Research & Ideation

I did research about their clientele, as well as their competitors, to understand their target audience and the positioning that they should have. Their primary target audience is Middle- Upper Middle Class people in the ages of 30-65 years old.

After completing the research phase, I began the ideation process, exploring various concepts and design elements to create a logo. After assessing competitors and contemporary office, I focussed on creating monogram style logos.

After the logomark, i also delved deeper into figuring out the typefaces that would work for the wordmark of the firm, which looks cohesive with the logo, has some character, yet is readable.

Colour & Typography

The colour inspiration for A&S came from lot of places- from their commonly used materials/ colours in their projects, in their new office, and from the message that they want to relay across.
