This topic was initiated after I discovered this gap between the concern of parents about children’s cartoons, and the impact of cartoons on a child’s development. There was a need for a guide to make informed viewing choices for their children.
Understanding the educational value of modern cartoons can help parents appreciate their potential benefits. By highlighting the positive messages, themes, and diversity in these cartoons, parents can feel more confident in allowing their kid to watch them.

data collection
I researched about the top children’s cartoons for 2023, from various sources, I considered worldwide Netflix streaming, Disney+ streaming, TV watching, as well as cumulative datasets to find the cartoons.
After preparing a list, I then delved into making a dataset with different qualitative data about each cartoon, that i wished to tackle/ use. This was what helped me to find commonalities and start making connections between the cartoons. I also divided them into 3 categories on the basis of age ratings.
